Amazing Actors Don’t Have an Oscar

    Leonardo DiCaprio

    This prolific actor has received his share of acting awards; ten Golden Globes and five Academy Award nominations. He has starred in "Titanic," "The Wolf of Wall Street," "The Aviator" and other outstanding movies. No one can explain this absence of his name on one of the coveted Oscar statues. He definitely leads the procession of sad, Oscarless actors.


    Sigourney Weaver

    She introduced audiences to a new type of science fiction as the heroine in "Alien" and all the sequences. She also starred in "Ghostbusters" a major blockbuster. She received other awards for "Ice Storm" and "Avatar," but still no Oscar!

    Edward Norton

    It is hard to believe this gifted actor has never received an Oscar. His incredible roles in movies include "Primal Fear," which got him a nomination for best supporting actor, and "American History X," which got him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor. "The Grand Budapest Hotel," "The Leaves of Grass" and "The Illusionist" have kept him at the head of his craft and shown why he is considered one of the best in the business.

    Julianne Moore

    It's puzzling why this amazing actress has never received an Oscar. Although she has received 4 Academy Award nominations, she has not received one for her outstanding role in "Vanya on 42nd Street." She also stood out in "Safe," "Nine Months" and "The Lost World: Jurassic Park." Thankfully she has received a Daytime Emmy in "As The World Turns."
